Photo above is the Mt Rose Tahoe base lodge view this morning, they haven’t said when but they are “assessing” and we can probably expect something soon…word is Palisades Tahoe, the resort formerly known as Squaw Valley, is going to open Friday…Jackson Hole has announced Thanksgiving Day, and they aren’t planning on any capacity limits due to COVID etc…in the east, Vail-owned Crotched Mountain in NH just pushed back their opening to December 11th…Vermont’s Smugglers Notch is targeting November 26…and first recorded snow slide of the year in Colorado, some “backcountry” skiers up in Loveland Pass triggered one on Sunday. Meanwhile down the hill on the Mississippi River side, Loveland Resort has snow, is making snow, but we don’t have a date yet.
