Quick report today, photo above this morning from Boreal in the Tahoe region shows that some resorts are getting pretty serious with their pre-season snowmaking tests.  Boreal is often one of the early openers, so have no doubt we’ll see more of this soon…midwest snow reported late in the weekend at Ski Brule and others in the northern reaches…biggest news today out of Colorado, Arapahoe Basin has announced that they’ll spin for the season on Friday, while cross-divide rival Loveland has announced Saturday the 20th.  All of this could change — stay tuned.  More news and updates tomorrow.
