Above we have the one and only Easter Bunny (needs no introduction), the venue here is Plattekill Mountain in New York…don’t forget to drop an e-mail with your name and address to sticker@skibum.net, we’ll send a couple of our famous free stickers…couple of places announcing that they’re wrapping it up this weekend include Jack Frost in Pennsy, Windham in New York…Oak Mountain also in NY shut ‘er down last weekend… Mountain High CA called it quits earlier this week…but it’s not all gloom and doom…Lutsen MN has announced “While our original plan was to remain open on just Eagle Mountain, we with so much snow we will now be open on Moose Mountain as well for April 14 & 15.” I forgot to ask, but I’m pretty sure they have even more open this weekend and possibly next…even locally run Black Mountain of Maine said hey, we got enough snow, they’re reopening this weekend…not going to run down every resort, just serving up a smattering here and there to give you an idea…Festivities far and wide this weekend, and although many resorts are banging it up on Sunday, they’re still serving up a bunch of fun. Below for example is the HYUUUGE annual Easter egg hunt at Copper Mountain in Colorado. Yes it’s spring, but…think snow!
